Our Story

About Hollyland Casino

A small independent crew with one job: separating the stars from the extras in US sweepstakes gaming.

Who We Are

Hollyland Casino is run by a compact editorial team of sweeps players, a former payments analyst, and one very patient fact-checker. We don’t operate a casino, we don’t take score-for-cash deals, and we don’t cover brands we wouldn’t play ourselves.

What We Do

We maintain a ranked list of certified US sweepstakes casinos, write full hands-on reviews, and keep guides on legality, mechanics, and safe play current. Every brand is re-checked monthly; every score traces back to a published rubric.

What We Refuse to Do

No offshore brands, no gray-market operators, no paid placements presented as editorial. If a platform can’t survive a real redemption test with our own money, it doesn’t appear here.

Operated By OMD AS

Hollyland Casino is operated by OMD AS, a private limited company registered in Norway. OMD AS provides editorial, technical, and commercial operations for this site and its sister review properties. Inquiries about the company can be sent through our contact page.

Why We Built Hollyland Casino

Hollyland Casino was built because the U.S. sweepstakes market had never had a testing-first review site. Reviewers who covered the space tended to be affiliate-first. Our approach is different: we register, deposit, play, and cash out on every brand before it earns a score.

Our Testing Discipline

Every brand goes through the same twelve-category scorecard: welcome bundle math, ongoing free routes, playthrough terms, cash-out speed, support responsiveness, payment methods, verification friction, mobile experience, game library depth, promotion cadence, terms transparency, and state availability. Each is scored 0-5 on a scale anchored to specific observable behaviour.

What We Will Not Do

We do not accept payment for a ranking position. We do not publish a review of a brand we have not personally tested. We do not link to operators whose state-availability lists are hidden. We do not run promotions targeted at self-excluded players or minors.

Play Responsibly

Sweepstakes play is entertainment — it is never a way to earn a living. If play stops being fun, step away. Free, confidential help is available around the clock from the National Council on Problem Gambling at 1-800-GAMBLER.
